英语，是与外国人沟通的一种方式，不用英语沟通，对方听不懂，比如有个外国人找你问路，你得用英语回答他。可见，如果你精通英语，就等于拿到了外国的通行证。也许，以后全世界的人都要会说英语。英语非常重要，让我们现在开始学好英语吧!全球化的时代已经来临，贸易往来，资讯传递，文化交流……更是任何国家赖以生存的不二选择、因此迈向国际化才是现代人》的生存之道，想要有作为就必须具有国际观，并具有口语的沟通能力，才是明智之举。而现今最强势的国家莫过于美国，英语是全世界通用的语言，所以学好英语才有资格踏入国际的舞台，如果中国人没有好的英语能力，真的是一件极为严重的大事。在我一年级的时候，我的爸爸和妈妈帮我报了一个英语班，名字叫做小星星英语，任课老师是一名叫做candy的优秀教师。我还记得，当我刚刚进入这个班的时候，发现自己不太好，从那时起，爸爸就对我说：“浩浩，你以后想不想成为明星?”这时，我带着一颗好奇的心问爸爸：“爸，明星是什么?只见他从书房里拿出了一张迈克尔杰克逊的照片。我突然惊呆了，那人长得好帅啊!此时此刻，我明白了什么叫做明星。在以后学英语的日子里，我加倍努力。后来参加了一个名字叫做“希望之星”的英语比赛。初赛是笔试。这种考试对于我来说是简直就是小菜一碟，什么发音啊、选择啊、连词成句啊等等题目，最后我进入了复赛。复赛是演讲一段英文的稿子，我选的稿子比较长，但是我每天都废寝忘食地在读、在背、在默写。到了比赛的那一天，爸爸带着我去了金华外国语学校。进了考场，面对我的竟然是一位黑人和一些懂英文的中国考官。开始了，第一个上去的是我的同学叶济航，他说的有些结巴，但是语音语调都很准，这给了我一点点的压力。到我了，我毫不犹豫地走了上去，大声说出自我介绍，后来演讲了一遍，最后鞠了个躬。由于我在自我介绍里说了我爸爸的职业是出租车司机，外国人问我：“你的爸爸真的是出租车司机吗?”我回答说：“是的。”这声音铿锵有力。让他相信了。最后结果出来了，我竟然通过了复赛，进入了金华半决赛，但是那里的人都是高手，所以我被非常遗憾的淘汰了。唉!在近段时间里，我最崇拜的歌手是加拿大的贾斯汀比伯，他只是个初出茅庐的小孩，为什么值得我这样呢?那是因为他虽然年纪小，但是他敢唱，毫不畏惧那些比他强的人。说英语也是这样，只要敢说，没什么大不了的!英语，我爱你!

什么是晕，切，我当什么呢！
星期天我参加岳阳市的英语大赢家比赛，说来我也有些无语，其实我本是不想参加的，但由于同学们的逼迫我无奈只好参加了。
在星期天未来临之前，我一听到英语这两个字，就会不由的哆嗦一下。原因有二：1、这是岳阳市的比赛，一但出了什么差错，那不就．．．．．．那不就臭名远扬了吗。2、妈妈还总是跟我说一堆人在底下看着你表演，这不明显是在引起我的恐惧感嘛。
星期天在去岳阳的车上我的心砰砰直跳，寒气陡然一下散布到了我的全身，一种不祥的预感在的大脑中不停的回旋，这种感觉不断的刺激着我的大脑，让我一想到十点钟，十点钟……怕呀！！~~~
到了比赛场地就更是令人“望而生畏”了人山人海，这还只是比赛钱45分钟时的场景，那要是到了比赛的时候那不就，那不就……我打了个寒颤，想到这我便不敢继续想下去了。老天爷总是不如你所愿，希望晚点开始可每次都与你的意愿相反，我进入了一号赛区。我的心似乎快要跳出来了，怎么不能呼吸了！啊！我快要休克了，恐怖啊。
谁知一进一号赛区，我的心便刷的一下子掉了下来，“晕，切，就这样啊，我当什么呢！”原来就是在一个教室中做一个小小的考试和自我介绍，我堂堂我五尺男儿怎么会害怕呢，笑话！不过快到我上去时，我又开始哆嗦起来，老师会问我什么呢？我会不会紧张呢？……种种问题一下子涌了上来，我忽然觉得教室中的空气在霎时间被冻成了冰刃，一刀一刀划在了我的脸上，一股浓浓的寒气一下子窜到了我的骨髓中……
正当我想时，我听到了一个熟悉的名字“方华清”，啊！轮到我了，我鼓足了勇气，为了面子我豁出去了，我双手踹在兜里，显出一副毫不在乎的样子再到老师面前，摆出一副很酷的样子来缓解我内心的恐惧，说白了我这无非就是“掩耳盗铃”，我叽里呱啦的说了一通。我竟然通过了。
后来，我回去一打听，晕死，我的几个同学都通过了，切！现在回想起来当时的样子猛然觉得大可不必是怎么样就怎么样呗，又觉得自己挺可笑的。
